This past week has been a dance between doing and allowing. I began teaching my yoga classes at the dojo — something that has been in the works for quite a while. I aligned some behind-the-scenes business items, forged ahead mentally (and maybe even with a bit more confidence!), and leaned into the comfort of extended family on days when I truly needed a hug.
Life, of course, threw a few wrenches my way — and it felt good to calmly put them where they belonged instead of letting them rattle me. I slowly checked off items on my to-do list, while also making space for joy-building activities and rest. That balance — that ebb and flow — feels like part of the secret to feeling ready for the week ahead.
🌱 I had moments of realizing seeds I planted long ago are now sprouting. I got to enjoy the fruits of my labor, while also pacing ahead to more planting and tending.
Through it all, I kept coming back to this truth:
“Life has a way of unfolding exactly as it should — when we allow it.”
The allowing part takes trust. It means making time for quiet thinking, reflection, meditation, and even the simple pleasure of reading. It means not forcing answers or rushing outcomes, but instead creating the right environment for growth.
This week, I encourage you to notice where you might lean more into allowing. Can you soften your grip on the timeline? Can you give yourself permission to rest, to receive, to trust that what you’ve planted will grow in its own time?
Because often, when we step back just enough, life surprises us with exactly what we’ve been working toward — arriving right on time. 💛
✨ If you’re ready to explore how to move toward your goals with both intention and ease, let’s talk. I’d love to help you find your own balance of action and allowing.
