Have you ever had life throw a wrench at you out of nowhere?
Something seemingly small that lands heavy — stirring old wounds you thought were tucked away?
This week, that happened to me.
An unexpected moment brought up emotions I hadn’t felt in years. It was quiet on the surface… but internally, a storm. 🌪️ Grief, anger, confusion, even numbness — all crashing in at once.
But this time, I didn’t power through.
I paused.
🧘♀️ Making Space to Feel
I cleared space in my day — not because I was unraveling, but because I respect my healing.
That, to me, is intentional living. 💛
I’ve learned that giving ourselves permission to feel is strength, not softness. Taking a half day from work wasn’t avoidance — it was an act of love toward myself.
We don’t always need to “figure it out.”
We often just need space to breathe through it.
🎒 Some Things Aren’t Ours to Carry
What came up for me was tied to the past. A reminder of things I’ve long since outgrown. What I realized — maybe what you need to hear too — is this:
✨ Not everything that resurfaces is meant to be reopened.
✨ Not every echo from the past deserves your energy.
✨ Not all messages are meant to be answered.
Sometimes they show up just to affirm how far you’ve come.
🤍 Grace Doesn’t Mean Re-Engagement
Grace and boundaries can hold hands. You can be kind, understanding, even compassionate — and still choose not to re-enter stories you’ve already healed from.
I’ve learned I can:
🌱 Honor that others are doing the best they can.
🌱 Recognize when something is more about their healing than mine.
🌱 Lovingly protect my peace without guilt or shame.
That is freedom. That is growth.
🌟 Reflection for You
If you’ve been handed an emotional wrench lately, I invite you to ask:
✨ What are you being invited to feel — not fix?
✨ Where can you give yourself more grace?
✨ What would it look like to protect your peace with compassion?
Not every moment needs a response. Some are simply here to remind you of who you’ve become. You don’t owe anyone your peace.
💫 My Offer to You
As a yoga teacher and values-based intentional life coach, I hold space for the mess, the magic, and the moments in between. Whether on the mat or in a session, we move through the layers — releasing what no longer serves and aligning with what deeply matters.
If you’re ready to navigate your healing with intention, I’m here.
Let’s walk this path — together. 🤍
